It was our kids birthdays last week (Michael was born on the 18th, Ariel on the 19th. Actually, they're only 4 hours apart, as Ariel was born in Mumbai, India, and it was still the 18th here).
One of the presents Ariel got was a face painting kit. Look at some of the amazing works of art she did on her face...

A Day in the Life with Michael
When Ariel was a baby, I don't remember picking up toys all over the house. When Ariel was a baby I don't remember her opening the fridge and getting into all of the food. When Ariel was a baby I don't remember her climbing on the kitchen table, and pulling every pen and pencil out of the pen cup and dropping them on the floor. What is with this kid?

Beautiful art from Ariel
Ariel has been doing some beautiful paintings and chalk drawings. I'm amazed at how she produces these so quickly. They have such softness and power to them -- they aren't just "pretty" -- they have an emotional depth to them. She also has, to me, an incredible knowledge of and love for colors. She's far beyond me artistically already.
